PROJECTS

Tether Takedown

Tether Takedown is a 4 player arena fighting game with a cartoony aesthetic. Players must use their tethers to activate hazards, stun other players, or grapple themselves quickly around the arena. The object of the game is to get the most points by stunning players or hitting them with the hazards you've activated!
This game was a collaborative effort as we had a team of 9 people working on it. (As well as 4 voice actors, 2 sound designers, a music composer, and a graphic designer, for the grand total of 17 people.) My role in the team was as a game programmer and sound lead. I programmed the player movement, various hazards, and implemented all the sound effects and soundtracks. As sound lead, I managed the 4 voice actors, 2 sound designers, and a music composer.

Polar Bear Game (WIP)

Polar Bear Game is a game about a polar bear... Obviously! Currently it is just a 3D platformer game with quests and some simple enemies, but I have plans for more fun activities such as skiing, boating, big boss battles, an engaging story line, and more!

This is my personal game that I like to work on whenever I have spare time. It is my pride and joy. So far everything from the programming to the art to the music has been made by me. I love to learn about everything that has to do with game development, and this project has helped me develop many new skills!

Brok_n Telephone

Brok_n Telephone was a game created and submitted for the Global Game Jam 2018. The idea is you play as a text message that someone has sent, and you must make your way down the telephone wires without running into obstacles and glitching up your text message. Your score depends on how intact your text message remains by the end of the telephone wires.
Our team of 8 people developed the entire game within 48 hours as part of the challenge rules. The theme of the jam was "Transmission", so we came up with a pretty creative idea to match that theme. For this project I decided to take part in as many roles as I could just for the fun of it. I helped design the game, programmed the main gameplay of jumping from wire to wire, and modeled various costumes for the crow obstacle and one of the house models.

Transversal (WIP)

Transversal is a first person maze/puzzle game where you must navigate the area looking for keys in order to open up the gateway portal to beat the level. The hook of the game comes into play with the crazy gravity, as you are able to walk on almost any surface, as long as there is a ramp, slope, or drop to get to it. Keys are hidden in tricky places, and you must use your wits to find the right paths.
This is another personal game that I work on every now and then when I'm bored. All the art, programming, music and other stuff is done by me. I like to see people's reactions when they first play it, as the odd physics mess with their mind!

Nani Malu

Nani Malu is a small 3D side-scroller game where you must navigate through a puzzle laden and spider infested jungle. You can use your spear to kill enemies, throw into walls to create platforms, and hit buttons to activate doors and other contraptions.
This game was made by a team of 5 people. My roles were gameplay programmer, visual effects programmer, and sound lead. I programmed the main spear mechanic, the spider enemies, various particle and lighting effects, and composed and implemented a soundtrack and various sound effects.
